Mission Statement
Fullerton Excellence in Education Foundation
The mission of the Fullerton Excellence in Education Foundation is to provide funding and support for the advancement of 21st Century Learning in our Fullerton School District. This organization reflects the dedication of the Fullerton Community to enrich, educate or better the lives of children through providing 21stCentury Learning Styles. Our aim is to enable students to successfully compete in the workplace in which they will live.
Goal
The goal of FEEF is to enhance student learning through technology. Through our donations and fundraising efforts, the Foundation intends to implement the following objectives across the Fullerton School District in our efforts to support the development of 21st Century Skills in students and staff. This would support, but not be limited to:
· establishing interactive learning environments in the classrooms
· expanding a 1:1 technology environment, and
· augmenting effective, long-term professional development for staff.
Measurable Outcomes for Success:
As evidenced by student data and independent student, staff and parent surveys conducted by the foundation:
o By 2009, 100 Fullerton School District students will have been provided laptops to support anytime/anywhere learning.
o By 2010, 95% of Fullerton School District administrators will utilize current technologies to extend learning beyond the four walls of the classroom.
o By 2013, 80% of Fullerton School District students will have seamless skills in Internet use and current computer programs
o By 2013, 80% of Fullerton School District Administration, Faculty and Staff will have manageable technology skills for current programs, internet support and data needs
o By 2020, the FEEF will have provided support of Technology to FSD amounting to over $1 million.
Purpose
This corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes. The charitable purpose of the corporation is to provide funding and support for educational and technological needs of the Fullerton School District students and staff. This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 ( c ) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
